BOULDER — Coach Tad Boyle worked the court, heartily encouraging his players, asking them questions, then demanding answers.
“Where are you suppose to be on that switch?” Boyle quizzed freshman Tyler Bey. “Exactly! You fill that spot. Make sure you get there on time!”
On the next trip down the court, Bey hustled to the top of the key, received the ball and quickly dished to a wide-open teammate, who drained a jumper from the corner.
“There you go! There you go!” Boyle shouted, drawing a slight smile from Bye.
Welcome to a Colorado basketball practice, where Boyle is working overtime as a teacher, attempting to transform the baby Buffs into a tight-knit, winning unit.
