Snatch a marquee win (or two) away from Boulder: To turn the heads on the NCAA Tournament selection committee, you need to slay dragons on neutral or unfriendly floors well before conference tournament play. Coach Tad Boyle knows this full well and scheduled accordingly: In addition to the season-opening non-conference test with Arizona State in Shanghai, the Buffs draw Wyoming in Las Vegas (Nov. 24), No. 3 Kansas in Lawrence (Dec. 7) and Dayton in Chicago (Dec. 21). CU needs to win at least two of those four, and three or more victories from that set would put them in great shape heading into league play.
