CU-Boulder football players charged with four counts each in theft case

The two University of Colorado football players accused of stealing items from a dorm room in April were each charged Wednesday with four counts, including three felonies.

Nu'umoto "N.J." Falo, 19, and Donald "Dino" Gordon, 20, were both charged with second-degree burglary, theft between $2,000 and $5,000, second-degree trespassing and possession of a controlled substance.

The burglary charge is a Class 3 felony that could carry a four- to 12-year prison sentence. The theft charge is a Class 6 felony and the possession charge is a Class 4 drug felony.
