Another well-regarded guard out of southern California has opted to pass on Tad Boyle and the Colorado Buffaloes.
On Tuesday afternoon Boogie Ellis, a four-star guard out of San Diego, announced the eight finalists on his recruiting checklist, and CU didn't make the cut. Instead, Ellis narrowed his choices to a list that includes a few of CU's Pac-12 rivals, in addition to a handful of national powerhouses and hometown selection San Diego State.
Also making Ellis' final eight, according to a Twitter announcement he posted, are Oregon, USC, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Oklahoma, and Gonzaga.
Rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.
