For a Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team that inked just one recruit, Wednesday proved to be an unusually busy opening day of the spring signing period.
Not only did CU make it official with junior college guard Maddox Daniels, who signed his national letter of intent, but reports began circulating late Wednesday afternoon that head coach Tad Boyle has landed a new assistant coach to finalize his staff in former Arizona State assistant Anthony Coleman.
As of Wednesday evening CU had not confirmed Coleman's hiring, which was first reported by 247Sports.com
Coleman is quite familiar with the Pac-12 Conference, having spent the past three seasons on the staff at ASU under head coach Bobby Hurley.
