LOS ANGELES — Colorado was able to take advantage of a little home court-like support in enemy territory.
The sparsely-populated Galen Center on Saturday night welcomed just 3,974 spectators for the host USC Trojans' basketball battle against Colorado. Yet a fair portion of that crowd was decked out in black-and-gold behind the CU bench, and head coach Tad Boyle was quick to credit their support after his Buffs topped USC 69-65.
"I saw the Buff contingent behind our bench and you heard them during the game," Boyle said. "I know most of them were Evan Battey's family and friends.
