BOULDER — University of Colorado athletic director Rick George has announced the department's latest fundraising campaign, this one being unique in its history as "The ONE" has been created to help offset the shortfall of funds due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the nation last winter.
"In these unprecedented times, financial support of CU Athletics and in particular, our student-athletes is needed now, more than ever," George said. "Our commitment to our student-athletes and our mission to compete for and win championships will never change, but the pandemic brings certain realities that could affect us for years to come.
