The University of Colorado is welcoming a new addition to its strength and conditioning staff.
On Friday associate athletic director for health & performance Miguel Rueda announced CU has hired Travis Larson as the Buffaloes' new strength and conditioning coach. Larson will work with the women's soccer and track and field programs and replaces Karim Derqaoui, who left CU in November.
Larson owns four years of experience of serving as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level, joining Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2014 to work with the school's soccer, track and field, football, and baseball programs.
