BOULDER — Take one look at Tory Miller and it's easy to understand why he embraces the physical confrontations that come with his station on a basketball court.
The 1,000-watt smile may say teddy bear, but the imposing frame of the 6-foot-9, 250-pound Colorado sophomore screams grizzly.
That's the part of Miller that craves contact. And he wants to be clear: His basketball is a contact sport.
"Some people can't gauge how physical this game is just sitting in the stands versus actually being in there," a grinning Miller said. "They have no idea."
Miller's thirst for the dirty work inside has been a big boon to the Buffaloes (17-7, 6-5 Pac-12), who will aim to snap a two-game losing streak when they host Washington State (9-14, 1-10) on Thursday night.
