Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver K.D. Nixon was one of the 50 players to make the Hourung Award Preseason Watch List, per an announcement by the Louisville Sports Commission last week.
The explosive athlete from DeSoto, Texas decided to come back to Boulder to live out his senior season after prematurely declaring for the NFL Draft last December. Nixon and the Buffs received the news of making the Hornung Watch List after being snubbed for the Biletnikoff Award Watch List on July 16.
Nixon is the most experienced player in the Buffs offense. He has a total of 35 career games played (19 starts) with 89 receptions for 1,128 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
