LOS ANGELES – The Colorado track and field women's program finds themselves in fourth despite not having competed in the three of the five distance finals through two days of competition here at the 2021 Pac-12 Track and Field Championships.
The women put up some major points today in the women's steeplechase as Madie Boreman finished fourth overall in 9:52.11 and freshman Alisa Meraz-Fishbein picked up a point with an eighth-place finish at 10:32.37.
The other area that Colorado picked up points was in the completion of the women's heptathlon where Avery McMullen finished seventh with a score of 5,314 points while Jada Green finished just outside of scoring with 5,232 points in ninth.
