Colorado wins at home over Cal: Quick Recap

The University of Colorado men’s basketball team held on to beat California 70-62 on Sunday afternoon at the Coors Events Center in Boulder. The Buffaloes overcame a slow offensive start to take a 37-23 lead into halftime, put couldn’t completely put the Golden Bears away until the game’s final seconds.

Cal slowly brought the deficit down to a mere four points, culminating in freshman forward Jaylen Brown’s 3-point field goal which made the score 62-58 with 1:56 remaining in the contest.

But free throws made in the final two minutes by senior guard Xavier Talton, sophomore guard Dom Collier, and senior center Josh Scott secured the victory for Colorado.
