Three Colorado universities are ranking high in the contest to put a mascot on the tail of a Frontier Airlines plane.
The Denver-based airline launched a contest this month that will allow the mascot of a team or organization to join the stable of wildlife already decorating its planes.
As of Thursday, the top five vote-getters according to a Twitter post from Frontier were:
1. Weimer High School wildcats (in Weimar, Texas)
2. Colorado State University's Cam the Ram
3. University of Colorado's Ralphie the Buffalo
4. University of Texas's Bevo, a Texas longhorn
