Here’s a look at how Colorado State’s and the University of Colorado’s quarterbacks performed in the Rocky Mountain Showdown on Friday night.

Steven Montez, CU, sophomore

Threw a pair of interceptions, but neither were bad throws as CSU cornerback Kevin Nutt Jr. made great plays on both. He finished the night 21 of 29 passing for 202 yards with a touchdown. He’s 3-1 as a starter, dating back to last season when he filled in for the injured Sefo Liufau. He was sacked twice.

Nick Stevens, CSU, senior

For the second straight season, his completion percentage in the Rocky Mountain Showdown struggled, connecting on 24 of 47 attempts for 309 yards while throwing two interceptions.
