FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State-Colorado men’s basketball rivalry will continue.
The two in-state rivals have agreed to renew their series, new CSU head coach Niko Medved told the Reporter-Herald on Friday. The two programs have met every season since 1991-92, a streak that was in jeopardy after their contract expired after last season’s game at CSU.
“We’re going to renew the Colorado series, and that’s a good thing we were able to do that,” Medved said. “We’ll obviously start back in Boulder this year, and then they come back to CSU the following year. That’s a good thing for everybody.
