BOULDER – The University of Colorado track and field program will send 10 student-athletes to Albuquerque, N.M., to compete in the MLK Invitational Friday and Saturday.
Most of the athletes traveling are combined event athletes working to fine tune some of the events in the pentathlon and heptathlon. Also a pair of male high jumpers and a duo of horizontal jumpers are making the trip.
Three events will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday; the men's and women's long jumps and the women's high jump. In the horizontal jump, Gunner Rigsby and Josh Farmer will both compete on the men's side while Maja Wichhart-Donzo and Drianna Mustin will compete for the women.
