The University of Colorado hosted the CU Invitational on Friday and Saturday, welcoming schools along the Front Range and non-University affiliated athletes to be a part of the event.
Colorado sophomore Ana Holland ran the 100-meter dash in 11.63 seconds, the fastest in school history. In addition, 4×100-meter relay saw the team of Holland, sophomores Tashay Brown and Alex Peters and senior Eileen Gehring complete the race in 44.98 seconds, the second-fastest time in school history.
It was an all-around good day for the Buffs, who took 16 first-place finishes and had 10 other top-three finishes.
