It was the first night of the season, and boy did it look like it when the Colorado Buffaloes lost to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
The game, which rain painfully late into Thursday night, came to a sudden end amidst Colorado's attempt to even the score. Colorado had the ball at the 6-yard line with around 0:12 remaining in the match.
Quarterback Sefo Liufau expected to have enough time to spike the ball to reset the clock -- or at least call one final play down 28-20.
