Colorado Hall of Fame inductees officially enshrine ‘The Catch’

The 12th class will be inducted into the University of Colorado Athletic Hall of Fame this November, as modern legendary names like Michael Westbrook and Chris Hudson will forever be remembered as some of the greatest athletes to pass through the halls of CU’s athletic facilities.

In addition to Westbrook and Hudson, the remaining inductees are as follows: Dale “Pete” Atkins (1940-42), Bill Brundige, Football (1967-69), Ted Castaneda, Track & Cross Country (1972-74), Sara (Gorton) Slattery (2000-05), Jerry Hillebrand, Football (1959-61), Bob Justice, Wrestling (1967-69), Bobby Kalinowski, Golf (1990-94), Jim Miller, Track (1962-64), Fran Munnelly, Soccer (2002-05), Shaun Vandiver, Basketball (1987-90)

While all names will resonate with at least chunks of the fan base, it might be Westbrook who has enjoyed the longest, most popular legacy that goes beyond Buffs fans.
