PALOS VERDES, Calif. — Despite shooting its best round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge on Tuesday, the University of Colorado women's golf team was unable to make up any ground and finished 16th.
The Buffs shot a 17-over 301 on Tuesday, bettering their scorecards from the previous two days. CU was a 24-over 308 on Sunday and a 25-over 309 on Monday to finish a 65-over 917. They finished four strokes behind Alabama, which was 15th at 61-over (913), although the Buffs did have a better third round score than the UA, which shot 21-over (305).
