FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Colorado golf team continued its movement up the team standings at the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Collegiate, climbing from 11th to 10th during the final round on Tuesday.
The Buffaloes carded a 307 on the challenging par 72, 6,157-yard Meadow Club course. They were only three strokes behind UC Davis entering the final round and the Aggies scored a 312 to drop below the Buffs. Colorado finished the tournament with an overall score of 903 (305-291-307), while UCD carded a 905 (299-294-312).
San Jose State, which had a 14-stroke lead heading into the final round (281-283—564), was able to hang on for the team win, but only by one stroke.
