Good thing the scouts at Elite 11 are great at evaluating talent, because they are terrible at math. Blake Stenstrom, a CU commit, was one of only 25 quarterbacks invited to the Elite 11 finals. Even though they were two touchdowns off, this is a prestigious invite to a prestigious event.
Stenstrom is the first quarterback committed to the Buffs to receive an invitation since Cody Hawkins all those years ago. While he had to deal with his father’s misstep, Cody was a dang good QB and if Stenstrom can approach his production in college, CU is in good hands.
