Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver La’Vontae Shenault was suspended indefinitely by head coach Karl Dorrell on Monday.
Shenault wasn’t on the sidelines for the game against No. 5 Texas A&M. He was serving the start of his suspension for violating team and athletic department rules, according to a statement by University of Colorado officials.
This isn’t the first time Shenault has been suspended.
The DeSoto, Texas star was held out of last year’s Alamo Bowl vs. Texas for a violation of athletic department policy. According to court documents, Shenault failed to appear in court on a traffic violation two week prior which likely led to his bowl game suspension.
