The Colorado Buffaloes will open their 2021-22 season on the sunny beaches of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where they will participate in the Paradise Jam.
The early season tournament will start on November 19 when the Buffs take on the Southern Illinois Salukis. If the Buffs win that game, they will face the winner of Duqesne or Northeastern (yes, that Northeastern, of J.J. Barea fame) on Nov. 21.
Colorado will play a third game, either the competition championship or some consolation game. Their potential matchups would be Creighton, Bradley, Brown or Colorado State.
Any game against the Rams is going to be hard fought, particularly now that CSU is actually good at basketball under Niko Medved.
