After a late night 31-20 loss to the USC Trojans, the Colorado Buffaloes dropped a few spots in the national polls. The Coaches Poll released Sunday morning was more forgiving to the Buffs, placing them at #25 (9 spots higher than USC) entering the game against Washington.
The AP Poll, America’s one true poll (1990), was harsher on the Buffs. They dropped CU from #21 to 5th in the receiving votes category, which is equivalent to 30th (USC is 28th). Honestly, I can’t be too upset at that ranking, as it feels about right (and maybe a little generous).
