After four-weeks of winless football Colorado grabbed a much needed 34-0 victory over Arizona on Saturday afternoon in Boulder.
Family weekend and a sold out crowd contributed to an electric environment at Folsom Field, and it is certain that the Buffs felt the energy. An extremely slow first half with the offense struggling to move the ball had fans concerned that change wasn’t in the near future. Both offensively and defensively, Colorado proved them wrong.
Colorado only mustered two field goals in the first half but was able to take a 6-0 lead into the locker room thanks to a four-play goal line stand from the one-yard line.
