In case you have been living under a rock, or have an emotionally healthy relationship with college sports that takes a break during the summer (you monster), there was a massive shift in the rights of student athletes this past week.
After their hand was forced by the Supreme Court and multiple state legislatures (including Colorado), the NCAA ruled that players can begin to profit off of their own name, image and likeness on July 1.
We have already seen some activity from the Colorado Buffaloes. In preparation of this ruling, the Buffs have put out some personal brands for their bigger players already.
