SAN ANTONIO — Colorado players, coaches and staff members had comfortable accommodations on their chartered flight from Boulder to San Antonio on Saturday.
But the Buffaloes still didn’t travel in style to the Alamo Bowl to the extent their 1,200-pound mascot did.
“Ralphie had a great trip,” said John Graves, the program manager for CU’s Ralphie Live Mascot Program. “She has a great, big trailer designed just for her. There’s plenty of room so that she can walk around. There’s bedding so that she can lay down, and there’s water and food for in there, too. She travels very well.
