Colorado Buffaloes allotted record $30.9-million in Pac-12 revenue distribution

The Pac-12 released details of its financial earnings from the 2017 fiscal year on Thursday, and for the first time ever, conference revenue exceeded $500 million.

That news was well received by Colorado and 11 other league members who reap the benefits.

Here is the numbers break down: The Pac-12 reported revenue of $509 million, which includes funds from its media partnerships with ESPN/FOX and the conference-owned Pac-12 Networks. The more relevant figure, though, is $371 million in member distribution — which split 12 ways comes out to a conference-record $30.9 million per school.

CU athletic director Rick George was attending the annual Pac-12 meetings in Arizona on Thursday.
