JOHN'S ISLAND, S.C. – With a few holes remaining in the second round of the Briar's Creek Invitational, play had to be suspended due to darkness. At the time of the suspension, CU was 15th in the standings.
The Buffs shot a 301 in the first round, which had put them 12th. Old Dominion finished one stroke in front of CU (300) for 11th and Illinois and Wisconsin tied for 13th (302). The team race is still pretty close despite Colorado dipping to 15th. Wisconsin has a three-stroke lead over the Buffs and Minnesota has a six-stroke advantage.
