Over the years, Mike Tanner has been as loyal as any Colorado Buffalo around.
Now, he's hoping some Buffs will help him.
A walk-on player at CU under coach Bill Mallory in the 1970s, Tanner has set up a GoFundMe.com page to raise money to pay for medical expenses.
"I have to get back up on my feet," he said.
Three decades ago, Tanner, 65, was in a plane crash and suffered neck and back injuries. A minor break in his lower back was not detected at the time, but he tried to have it fixed recently.
