Injuries are a part of every college football season. It’s no surprise that the Colorado Buffaloes are extra banged up after playing the two most physical games of the year against USC and Washington. However, this injury isn’t just another gut punch.
Chris Miller-Slaughter, the Buffs’ young cornerback and owner of the coolest hyphenated name in football, will miss the rest of the year after having surgery to repair his wrist. He injured his wrist against Washington after playing heavy minutes the entire Pac-12 schedule.
This loss hurts for the Buffs, but more importantly, for the kid.
