WILMETTE, Ill. — The University of Colorado women's golf team finished the first day of the Windy City Collegiate Classic in 11th, shooting a 27-over 603 (301-302) here today at Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Ill.
"It was a tough day for us," head coach Anne Kelly said. "This is a very difficult and challenging course."
Pac-12 Conference teams own the top three positions after the first 36 holes. Arizona leads the tournament after the first two rounds with a 1-under 575 (289-286), and Southern California is second with just one more stroke through two rounds (286-290—576).
