Colorado’s in-state recruiting continues to ramp up.
On Wednesday morning, Cherry Creek High School receiver Chase Penry announced his pledge to CU for the class of 2021.
A 6-foot-1,185-pound receiver, Penry is the third player to commit to CU for the 2021 class and all of them are from in-state schools. Penry joins Palmer Ridge athlete Kaden Dudley and Vista Peak offensive lineman Braylen Nelson in the 2021 class.
All three have three-star ratings from both 247Sports.com and Rivals.com.
As a junior last season, Penry caught 54 passes for 646 yards and 10 touchdowns in helping the Bruins to a 14-0 record and the Class 5A state title.
