Cherry Creek High School running Jayle Stacks is joining the herd in Boulder.
On Monday, the 6-foot, 225-pound senior announced that he has verbally committed to Colorado for the 2020 class.
Rating a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com, Stacks had been committed to Air Force since September. He has five scholarship offers, including from Colorado State, Northern Colorado and Columbia.
This season, Stacks has rushed for 941 yards and 14 touchdowns on 96 carries, averaging 9.8 yards per rush. He also has 14 catches for 196 yards and five scores for the top-ranked Bruins (12-0).
A four-year varsity player, Stacks has rushed for 2,783 yards and 38 touchdowns during his career with the Buffs, who will play Pomona in the Class 5A semifinals on Saturday.
