Buffaloes great Chauncey Billups is having his number retired by the Detroit Pistons tonight.
One of the greatest basketball players to ever attend the University of Colorado was honored by the NBA's Detroit Pistons tonight as Chauncey Billups had his number retired prior to a game against the Denver Nuggets.
In two seasons with Colorado, Billups averaged 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. His sophomore season, he led the team to the NCAA Tournament where they were able to upset the Indiana Hoosiers in the first round before losing to North Carolina.
