Colorado head football coach Mel Tucker has made it clear the Buffaloes will look all over the country for the top talent in recruiting, but he’s also made a point of targeting the best players in Colorado.
“We want to start in our state and we want our best players here to stay home,” Tucker said on national signing day in December. “We’re working hard at that every day to make that a reality.”
So far, CU’s 2021 class is filled with local talent. On Wednesday, Cherry Creek receiver Chase Penry announced his commitment to the Buffaloes for 2021.
