Here we go again, Rick George.
Mel Tucker is out. And George, the CU Buffs’ athletic director, is back on the hiring trail a little more than a year after he brought in Tucker to replace Mike MacIntyre in December 2018.
So: Keep it in the family? Or look outside?
Stay local? Or go for the splash?
Given the timing of the move, George will undoubtedly have his hands full. Both the early-and-late signing periods have come and gone. Most programs, even ones with new coaches, have a full staff and are turning their attention to spring ball.
