BOULDER — For the second straight week, the Buffaloes have swept the Pac-12 Conference Lacrosse Player of the Week awards. Senior Eliza Cahill was named the defensive player of the week, while junior Charlie Rudy was named the offensive player of the week.
Both players helped Colorado (7-5, 4-3 Pac-12) record a pair of road wins last week in Northern California. CU defeated UC Davis 16-13 on April 9 and then went on to earn a 12-10 win against California on April 11.
Cahill, a defender from The Woodlands, Texas, led the Buffs with eight ground balls and 10 draw controls while adding two caused turnovers, one in each game.
