Buffs Use Strong Second Quarter To Surge Past Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Playing its first road game of the season, the Colorado lacrosse team put together an impressive win against Harvard at Jordan Field, defeating the Crimson, 12-6, on Sunday.

The Buffaloes led 3-2 after the first quarter, but a strong 4-1 run in the second quarter gave them a 7-3 advantage heading into halftime. CU's defense held Harvard to just three more goals in the remaining 30 minutes while the offense continued to score, adding another five to secure the victory.

A trio of Buffs, Sadie Grozier, Charlie Rudy and Chloe Willard scored three goals.
