Buffs Top Stanford For Third Straight Win

BOULDER — Colorado sophomore Lucas Siewert scored a career-high 17 points, including a pair of 3-pointers down the stretch, to help the Buffs to a 64-56 win over Stanford on Sunday at the Coors Events Center.

The win, Colorado's third in a row and ninth straight over Stanford, improved CU to 15-10 overall while also bumping the Buffs back above .500 in Pac-12 play at 7-6. Stanford dropped 13-13 and 7-6.

The game was Siewert's third double-digit scoring effort in his last four games, and he also had seven rebounds. George King added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Buffs while freshman McKinley Wright IV had 10 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
