Senior Kirsty Hodgkins Leads Through Two Rounds
DALLAS — The University of Colorado women's golf team got its season off to a solid start on Monday and is currently tied for third at the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational.
The Buffs shot an 8-over 584 and are tied with Baylor. CU shot a 294 in the first round and followed it up with a 290 in the second. Oklahoma State leads the field at 3-under (291-282—573), while North Texas has a narrow lead over Colorado and Baylor with a 6-over 582 (291-291).
"We are way better than we were last spring, that's for sure," head coach Anne Kelly said.
