LAS VEGAS – Colorado women's tennis team competed in three rounds of action here on the second day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Regional Championships Thursday, advancing one doubles team and two singles to various rounds of 16.
Megan Forster and Mila Stanojevic picked up a close win in the round of 32 of doubles play against Laura Duhl and Elinor Beazley of Northern Arizona. Forster and Stanojevic won 8-7 and won the tiebreaker by only allowing three points to advance to the round of 16 tomorrow.
In the other doubles match for Colorado, Caroline Pozo and Antonia Balzert fell to the fifth-seeded tandem from BYU in Anastasia Abramyan and Leah Heimuli by a score of 8-5.
