OJAI, Calif. – The University of Colorado women's tennis team suffered a loss to No.34-ranked Washington State, 4-0, in the first round of the 2019 Pac-12 Championships.
The Buffaloes (10-14, 3-7 Pac-12) finish their season with the most wins in school history as WSU (19-9, 3-7 Pac-12) advance to take on the top-seeded Stanford.
The Cougs jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after No.41 Hikaru Sato and Tiffany Mylonas upset No.31 Monica Malinen and Annabelle Andrinopoulos in the No.1 doubles match by a score of 6-1.
