Buffs Stymie Utah To Collect Key Home Win

BOULDER — Tyler Bey recorded a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double and the Colorado Buffaloes held Utah off down the stretch Saturday to collect a 71-63 win at the CU Events Center.

The Buffs took the lead for good midway through the first half and never trailed after that, but they could never completely shake the Utes. The game wasn't clearly in hand until a 3-pointer from McKinley Wright IV gave Colorado a 69-59 lead with 48 seconds remaining to put the game away.

CU improved to 17-11 overall and 8-8 in Pac-12 play while Utah dropped to 15-13, 9-7.
