BOULDER – It was smooth sailing for the Colorado women's basketball team at the CU Events Center on Friday. The Buffaloes led from the opening tip and sent the California Golden Bears packing, 75-59.
CU's offense was powered by freshman Frida Formann and senior Mya Hollingshed. Formann started 6-for-6 from the field and finished 7-for- on her way to a new scoring a season-high 19 points. Hollingshed finished one rebound shy of a double-double, closing with 18 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Jaylyn Sherrod also handed out five assists.
