BOULDER — Colorado received double-digit scoring from three players and the Buffs overcame a sluggish start to record a 66-57 exhibition win over Colorado Mines on Saturday at the CU Events Center.
Colorado sophomore Tyler Bey had a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double, McKinley Wright IV added 14 points and Lucas Siewert chipped in 12. Wright also had eight assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Buffs jumped out to an early edge, but Mines came back to take the lead with some solid outside shooting and key drives to the basket.
