BOULDER — With blizzard conditions moving into Colorado on Wednesday, the University of Colorado women's golf team boarded a plane that morning for the Dominican Republic to play at Tar Heel Classic Hosted by Suzy Whaley, March 15-16.
The Buffs will join 14 other teams: Florida Atlantic, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Quinnipiac, TCU, UNC Wilmington, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and the tournament host, North Carolina.
Action will begin on Friday at the Casa de Campo Teeth of the Dog Course, which is a 6,140-yard, par 72 course in Higuey La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
