BOULDER — Saturday’s Colorado-Utah matchup is far more than just another meeting between two of the premier big men in the nation.
But there’s no doubt the rematch between CU’s Josh Scott and Utah’s Jakob Poeltl — both finalists for the national Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award — will likely have a significant effect of the outcome of Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. game (ESPNU) at the Huntsman Center.
In their first meeting this year in Boulder in early January, Scott outscored his Utah counterpart 10-6 while the Utes center had a slight 11-10 edge on the boards.
