Colorado defended their title in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase for the seventh consecutive year as sophomore Sage Hurta brought home the title for the Buffs Saturday at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships.
The Buffs had an overall great day at the Cobb Track and Angell Field in Stanford. The men are going into tomorrow with 33 points and in third place, and the women earned 37 points and will enter tomorrow in fifth place. Many Colorado athletes will be continuing to the finals in their respective events tomorrow as well.
Hurta finished the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:57.
